Job description

Overview

NU Advisory Partners is conducting the search for a Vice President of Enterprise Transformation to join a global healthcare products company with multi-billion-dollar revenues. This pivotal role demands ownership over the entire enterprise transformation program, leveraging AI and digital advancements to modernize key business processes, and drive lasting improvements in productivity and profitability. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of defining strategy, engaging senior leadership, and delivering tangible outcomes within a large, complex international organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a multi-year transformation strategy aligned with the company’s financial and strategic objectives, and establish clear milestones and metrics for success.
  • Lead accountability for the transformation portfolio to achieve measurable productivity and margin improvements.
  • Incorporate external perspectives and industry best practices to guide investment in transformative initiatives.
  • Enable widespread AI adoption focusing on changing business processes and workforce enablement rather than just technology deployment.
  • Collaborate with HR and business units to design and implement education and upskilling programs to enhance AI competency at all organizational levels.
  • Define standards and governance frameworks to ensure responsible and scalable AI implementation.
  • Identify and execute cross-functional process improvement opportunities across commercial, supply chain, and product operations, embedding Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Enhance business performance by streamlining revenue and support functions, improving quality, shortening cycle times, raising customer satisfaction, and reducing operating costs.
  • Take executive responsibility for a large global network of shared services including finance, HR, and technology centers, optimizing back-office operations through automation and AI.
  • Develop leadership capabilities and cultivate operational excellence culture within global shared services teams.
  • Establish governance structures, prioritization processes, and benefit realization tracking to ensure programs deliver expected value on schedule.
  • Build and lead a high-performing program and project management organization, proactively managing risks related to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Maintain disciplined budget and investment management adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Engage senior stakeholders as sponsors and active participants in transformation efforts, aligning resources and accountability across functions and regions.
  • Provide transparent, clear communication on progress and challenges to executives and the broader company.
  • Demontrate a leading example of change leadership, fostering openness to new operational approaches.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 15 years in senior leadership roles managing enterprise-wide transformation and continuous improvement in global companies with revenues of multiple billions.
  • Proven success delivering AI and technology-driven initiatives with measurable impact on cost, efficiency, or revenues.
  • Strong execution orientation with hands-on ownership of delivery results rather than purely advisory roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies; certifications such as Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or PMP highly desirable.
  • Experience leading large global teams and program management functions accountable for benefit realization.
  • Background in managing shared services or global capability centers advantageous.
  • Comfort and fluency with contemporary digital tools, automation, and data-driven management approaches.
  • Exceptional presence and credibility to influence senior executives across diverse functions and geographies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in business, engineering, or related fields preferred.
  • Must be based onsite at a U.S. office location.

Application Process

  • Submit your resume for consideration.
  • Applications will be reviewed and candidates matching the profile will be contacted for further discussions.
  • Applicants not immediately selected will be maintained in the talent network for future relevant opportunities.
