Head of Operations

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned, strategic, and result-oriented Head of Operations to lead and supervise our organizational operational functions. This pivotal role entails crafting operational strategies, refining business processes, enhancing efficiency, spearheading cross-departmental teams, and guaranteeing operational excellence throughout the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and implement operational plans that align with the company's vision, goals, and expansion objectives.
• Manage daily business activities to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity, and exceptional service quality.
• Develop, launch, and continuously refine operational workflows, processes, and standards of performance.
• Track vital operational metrics and KPIs, delivering insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead initiatives focused on operational excellence, process enhancements, automation, and cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure operational efforts harmonize with business targets and customer expectations.
• Oversee resource planning, workforce distribution, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
• Detect potential operational risks and devise strategies to mitigate them ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
• Championship of change management, organizational transformation, and ongoing improvement projects.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, quality requirements, and internal controls.
• Mentor and develop managers and operational teams to cultivate a culture centered on accountability and superior performance.
• Contribute to strategic planning, company expansion activities, and explore new business opportunities.
• Generate executive-level reports, operational performance reviews, and updates on business outcomes for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing operations, business operations, supply chain, logistics, or similar leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in operational strategy formulation, process optimization, and organizational performance oversight.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and handling large-scale operational functions.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership qualities with effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and performance evaluations.
• Knowledgeable in business systems, ERP software, data analytics, and operational reporting tools.
• Ability to excel in a fast-moving, dynamic, and growth-driven setting.
• Strong commercial insight and strategic business understanding.
• Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or similar discipline. An MBA or equivalent leadership qualification is a plus.
