They are recruiting a Senior Vice President in Enterprise Account Management, a pivotal executive role designed for a seasoned leader experienced in cultivating and managing principal customer management teams within the transportation and logistics sector. This position moves beyond traditional account servicing to focus on strategic account expansion, client retention, profitability enhancement, and cultivating executive-level client relationships within the organization’s key enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Managers structured by industry verticals, dedicated to deepening customer relationships, boosting wallet share, enhancing profitability, and formulating long-range account strategies.
  • Craft and implement scalable account management frameworks aimed at maximizing client retention, elevating revenue streams, and ensuring sustained profitability.
  • Set and promote best practices in account planning, executive business reviews, opportunity management, and client engagement activities.
  • Discover and pursue opportunities to broaden customer relationships through diverse transportation and logistics services.
  • Oversee portfolio success by tracking revenue growth, gross margin, customer loyalty, and overall account vitality.
  • Forge strong executive-level partnerships with key client stakeholders, positioning yourself as a valued strategic advisor to vital accounts.
  • Work in close synergy with Enterprise Sales leadership to guarantee seamless integration from customer acquisition to long-term account expansion.
  • Coordinate efforts with operations, pricing, carrier management, and company leadership to enable effective execution of client strategies.
  • Develop and maintain performance benchmarks, coaching initiatives, and accountability measures to support the growth of the account management team.
  • Regularly provide executive leadership with comprehensive updates on portfolio performance, potential growth areas, identified business risks, and ongoing strategic projects.
  • Coach and nurture emerging commercial leaders while cultivating a culture centered on high performance and customer orientation.

Qualifications

  • Over ten years of leadership experience in enterprise account management, strategic customer management, or commercial logistics.
  • Proven track record managing extensive enterprise customer portfolios with revenues exceeding $100 million annually.
  • Experience leading teams that drive customer growth, retention, profitability, and manage executive relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex logistics and transportation services, including truckload, dedicated transport, less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, drayage, managed transportation, distribution, and warehousing.
  • Competent in supporting clients spanning multiple internal divisions or service lines in an intricate logistics framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and seize growth opportunities within existing accounts while safeguarding long-term customer bonds.
  • Strong executive presence capable of impactful communication with senior supply chain, operations, procurement, and executive leaders.
  • Strong financial insight and commercial understanding to oversee portfolio profitability, margin management, and revenue enhancement.
  • Analytically driven, with experience utilizing CRM platforms, key performance metrics, and data-informed decision-making processes.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.

What Makes This Opportunity Attractive

  • Become part of one of the fastest expanding private logistics providers across North America.
  • Lead a prominent enterprise account management division with considerable influence within the company.
  • Collaborate with experienced senior leadership dedicated to ongoing business growth and innovation.
  • Receive comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Participate in a company-sponsored retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
  • Engage in a dynamic, entrepreneurial workplace culture driven by high performance.
  • Earn a competitive base salary from $225,000 to $250,000, paired with bonus opportunities totaling up to $125,000.
