Role Summary
The Vice President of Business Operations, a full-time remote position, is charged with establishing and managing the operations framework supporting Opus One's institutional platform. This leadership role involves directing day-to-day business functions, including improving processes, resource allocation, and coordinating activities across risk, technology, compliance, and execution departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee operational frameworks to support scalable workflows as new portfolio managers and mandates join the platform.
- Set performance metrics and ensure efficient operational scaling.
- Manage program administration for strategic projects, boosting operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership on budget development and forecasts.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks related to the business.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive organizational growth and uphold operational excellence.
- Continuously refine the platform to align with institutional client needs and expectations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in business operations and management, capable of designing and scaling complex processes and systems.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and operational risk evaluation.
- Experience in program management leading multi-functional initiatives successfully.
- Solid understanding of finance principles to engage with budgeting, forecasting, and financial impact assessments.
- Leadership background within rapidly growing organizations or financial services sectors, ideally asset management or capital markets.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated history of creating scalable processes leveraging technology for enhanced efficiency and control.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines; advanced degrees such as an MBA are preferred but not mandatory.
