About the Role

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will act as the lead recruitment liaison for leadership teams across Boulder Care, managing end-to-end hiring processes and contributing to the development of hiring strategies, enhanced decision-making, and refinement of recruitment practices.

This position primarily focuses on recruiting for Corporate and General & Administrative roles, while also extending support for Product and Software Engineering hiring. Success in this role requires strong business insight, sound judgment, and confidence to build lasting partnerships and influence hiring outcomes in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment within assigned business areas, from defining roles to securing candidate acceptance.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and interview processes that identify outstanding candidates.
  • Create and maintain talent pipelines aligned with current and anticipated recruitment needs.
  • Drive recruitment timelines and stakeholder engagement, ensuring smooth communication throughout the hiring cycle.
  • Manage multiple concurrent recruitment initiatives, balancing changing priorities.
  • Deliver efficient recruiting processes that value speed, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Serve as strategic hiring advisor, guiding intake discussions, setting role expectations, and managing hiring timelines.
  • Provide market insights on compensation and talent availability to hiring leaders.
  • Identify and mitigate hiring risks, recommending strategy adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships by offering clear recommendations and consistent follow-through.
  • Leverage past high-growth startup experience to support leaders in adapting recruitment strategies to evolving business conditions.
  • Identify and implement improvements in recruiting operations, interview quality, and process efficiency.
  • Use recruitment data to spot trends, hiring risks, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards enhancing visibility into recruitment metrics and pipeline health.
  • Partner with People Operations and cross-functional teams to enhance hiring workflows and systems.
  • Ensure candidates experience respectful, transparent, and responsive communications reflecting Boulder Care’s mission and values.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of six years progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly within Corporate and G&A areas in later-stage high-growth startups (Series B or later).
  • Proven track record collaborating with senior leaders—including Directors and VPs—on workforce planning and complex talent decisions.
  • Experience leading critical searches requiring strategic sourcing and stakeholder management.
  • Recruitment experience for Product and Software Engineering roles.
  • Strong influence in hiring decisions via structured evaluations, market knowledge, and sound judgment.
  • Excellent sourcing skills with success building pipelines and engaging passive candidates across functions.
  • Advanced use of Applicant Tracking Systems for workflow and data accuracy.
  • Skilled in negotiation and closing candidates to positive outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building credibility, influencing, and navigating challenging discussions with confidence.
  • Analytical thinker using recruitment data and market insights to optimize hiring strategy.
  • Highly adaptable with sound judgment to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup setting.
  • Demonstrates high professionalism, ethics, and composure under pressure.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

  • Recruiting experience in digital health, healthcare tech, or telehealth industries.
  • Exposure to healthcare recruiting, particularly clinical roles.
  • Familiarity with substance use disorder treatment environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and custom reporting for recruitment analytics.

Work Environment & Location

This fully remote role requires candidates to reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, ME, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WV. Employees may optionally use Boulder Care's Portland, OR office.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with an expected 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary range is $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with exact pay determined by market standards, candidate experience, and skills. The compensation package also includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability coverage, mental health services through insurance, 401(k) retirement plan eligibility, paid time off including four weeks of vacation (increasing to five weeks after two years), nine paid holidays, accrued sick leave, and 12 weeks fully paid parental leave after six months of service. Hardware is provided for remote work.
