Role Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner acts as a key recruiting collaborator for leadership throughout Boulder Care, overseeing the entire recruiting lifecycle and aiding in developing hiring strategies, refining decision-making, and enhancing employment practices. Primarily, this role supports Corporate and General & Administrative (G&A) hires while also contributing to Product and Software Engineering recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job definition to offer acceptance across assigned functions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to craft hiring plans and structured interview methods for selecting outstanding candidates.
- Establish proactive talent pools aligned with present and future hiring demands.
- Maintain recruitment momentum by controlling timelines, ensuring stakeholder participation, and communicating effectively with candidates.
- Balm multiple simultaneous searches under shifting priorities.
- Ensure a recruiting process that balances speed, quality, and a positive candidate experience.
- Act as the strategic recruitment partner by leading alignment meetings and advising on role scope, evaluation criteria, and hiring timelines.
- Provide market insights, compensation guidance, and advise on candidate availability to recruiters and hiring leaders.
- Challenge assumptions, identify hiring risks, and suggest modifications to improve outcomes.
- Develop trusted relationships through clear communication and consistent results.
- Bring experience from fast-growing startups to anticipate hiring challenges and support evolving priorities.
- Identify and implement improvements in recruiting procedures, interview effectiveness, and operational workflow.
- Utilize recruiting data analytics to inform strategy, detect trends, and mitigate risks.
- Create dashboards and reports for enhanced visibility into recruitment performance.
- Collaborate with People Operations and other teams to enhance hiring programs and systems.
- Deliver an exemplary candidate experience, reflecting company values and ensuring transparent, timely communications regardless of hiring outcome.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum six years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, notably within Corporate and G&A roles at Series B or later high-growth startups.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders in workforce planning and complex talent acquisition decisions.
- Experience managing critical, high-stakes searches requiring strategic sourcing and strong judgment.
- Background recruiting Product and Software Engineering talent.
- Strong influencing skills in hiring decisions using structured candidate evaluation and market knowledge.
- Exceptional sourcing skills, including building pipelines and engaging passive candidates across functions.
- Advanced expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems, including reporting and workflow management while ensuring data integrity.
- Strong negotiation and candidate closing capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to build trust and manage sensitive discussions confidently.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities, using data and insights to steer hiring strategies.
- High adaptability and sound decision-making in fast-paced, ambiguous startup settings.
- Consistently uphold ethical standards, professionalism, and composure under pressure.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Experience recruiting in digital health, healthcare technology, or telehealth settings.
- Healthcare recruiting knowledge, including clinical hiring experience.
- Familiarity with substance use disorder treatment communities.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets with experience in pivot tables, formulas, and dashboard/report creation.
Work Environment and Logistics
This position is fully remote but only open to candidates residing and working in the following US states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, ME, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, and WV. Boulder Care provides an optional riverfront office in Portland, OR, if employees choose to use it. The role requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during regular business days.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this post is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, depending on location, expertise, and experience. The compensation package may include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, mental health services such as Talkspace and Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and paid leave options including vacations (four weeks annually, increasing to five weeks after two years), sick leave accrual, nine paid holidays, and 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave (post six months). Additional benefits include 401(k) retirement savings and provision of remote working equipment.
