Role Overview

The Service Advisor serves as the essential liaison between the workshop and customers, reflecting the brand’s values while ensuring trust and satisfaction. This role demands excellence in communication, organization, and a strong grasp of automotive service processes, along with achieving sales and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers as the initial point of contact at the workshop, projecting professionalism and building rapport.
• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles upon arrival, inform customers of vehicle condition and any issues identified.
• Maintain clear spoken and telephonic communication with customers about service charges, approvals, and ongoing progress.
• Explain completed work clearly when handing vehicles back to customers.
• Advise customers regarding vehicle repairs, expected timelines, and warranty coverage.
• Prepare and negotiate repair cost estimates, securing customer consent before work commences.
• Work towards monthly sales targets involving labor, parts, and additional services.
• Oversee and track repair work to assure on-time completion and vehicle delivery.
• Keep customers informed about upcoming service schedules and maintain engagement throughout the repair cycle.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or degree in Technical, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
• Between 3 to 5 years’ relevant work experience within the automotive sector or comparable environments.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous. Comfortable with computers and driving.
• Strong interpersonal skills, dynamic personality, professional appearance, and a positive customer-oriented outlook.
• Demonstrated success in sales achievement and customer service excellence.
• Advanced communication, technical knowledge of automobile repairs, and strong planning capabilities.
