Role Summary
As a Paint Technician at Al-Futtaim Automotive, your duty will be to perform top-tier paint repair and vehicle refinishing within the workshop, strictly adhering to manufacturers' guidelines while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Your success will be gauged by repeat repair rates, monthly sold hours, and client feedback. You will be expected to demonstrate company values, communicate effectively internally and with customers, and suggest operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain superior quality to reduce return jobs and repeats.
- Communicate repair details clearly to service advisors, foremen, staff, and clients.
- Contribute feedback for enhancement of methods, environment, tools, and equipment.
- Meet monthly sold hours targets supporting branch goals.
- Adhere to manufacturer standards to deliver exceptional customer service on every job.
- Stay updated on product developments to manage complex automobile repair challenges effectively.
Required Skills
- Expertise in vehicle paint repair and finishing techniques.
- Strong verbal communication abilities for clear explanation of procedures.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team setting.
- Focus on customer satisfaction ensuring positive service experiences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree accompanied by a Trade Certificate or Diploma in Painting or Automobile Engineering.
- Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience at a reputable workshop.
- Demonstrated technical competence in painting and automotive repair.
- Effective communication skills to engage with advisors, foremen, and customers.
