Role Overview
The Saudization Claims Executive position focuses on managing receivables, credit control, claims, and reporting activities within Al-Futtaim Automotive’s Body Shop division. Reporting to the Regional Manager and Head of Body & Paint, this role collaborates with finance and credit teams to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and enhanced receivables performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and improving invoicing and collections processes to optimize timeliness.
- Compile, analyze, and distribute MIS reports on receivables segmented by division and customer.
- Track customer outstanding balances and aid in arranging suitable payment plans when necessary.
- Provide detailed analysis of overdue accounts, disputed claims, and collection risks.
- Prepare and communicate key performance indicators regularly to relevant managers and finance teams.
- Coordinate with Finance Shared Services for debtor reporting, reconciliation, and accounting updates.
- Support month-end duties, including rebate accruals and accounts receivable provisions.
- Help devise collection strategies and action plans to decrease overdue balances.
- Keep precise and confidential financial data and records, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Engage collaboratively with internal stakeholders to foster a transparent and high-performance workplace.
Required Skills and Experience
- Competent in analyzing receivables data, generating MIS reports, and identifying payment trends.
- Well-versed in invoicing, collections, debtor reports, reconciliations, payment plan formulation, and AR provisioning.
- Effective communicator with credit control teams, finance units, management, and customers to resolve financial issues.
- Strong capability in handling sensitive financial information responsibly with integrity and compliance.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least three years’ worth of experience in receivables management, credit control, claims, or finance operations within a large corporate entity.
- Automotive industry experience, particularly in parts, dealer operations, or Body & Paint, is considered advantageous.
- Proficient analytical and reporting skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and hierarchy levels.
- Advanced computer skills; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
