Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient customer service to guests, clients, and coworkers, adapting to their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned department areas and corridors following strict preventive maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Assess and select appropriate cleaning methods as guided during training.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning agents safely and efficiently under supervisory observation.
• Disinfect and sterilize tools and supplies using germicides and sterilizing devices as needed.
• Handle the disposal of waste and biohazardous materials conscientiously, following universal precautions to ensure safety.
• Ensure cleaning carts are well-stocked, chemicals are properly labeled, and all equipment is functional.
• Foster positive interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships while maintaining professional behavior.
• Contribute to enhancing operational productivity and efficiency within the department.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by completing required training and adhering to departmental standards.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning roles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in completing cleaning tasks.
• Effective communication skills with clients, management, and support staff.
• Ability to adapt and respond promptly to changing requirements.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.
• Willingness to comply with uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
