Custodian Lead - Tucson High Magnet School (2026-2027 School Year)

Job Summary

This role involves performing diverse cleaning tasks within designated district facilities or schools, adhering closely to county health department regulations and site administrator standards. The position also requires oversight of custodial staff activities and assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of five years' experience in custodial roles.
• Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to understand graphic and oral instructions presented in English.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Completion of an FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity or vaccination against measles (rubeola) and German measles (rubella) through MMR immunization.
• A physical examination and ability to lift 50 pounds, required after a job offer.
• Mandatory participation in Tucson Unified School District's New-Hire Custodial Training.
• Completion of Bloodborne Pathogen training provided by the district's Risk Management Department.

Employment Details

• Position effective during the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Work location: Tucson High Magnet School, located at 6th St. & Euclid Area.
• Full-time employment at 1.0 FTE, 8-hour shifts, PM shift.
• 12-month work calendar.
• Positions working under 30 hours weekly are not eligible for district benefits.

Compensation Update
