Role Overview

The Assistant Branch Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager and acts as a key liaison between management, staff, and customers. Responsibilities include promoting new initiatives, maintaining high customer service standards, managing day-to-day sales operations, and supporting a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in driving sales and enhancing store performance
• Lead and motivate staff daily to foster a positive team environment
• Deliver exceptional and accurate customer service and advice
• Handle retail and trade sales transactions
• Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and organization
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
• Promote a culture of safety, encouraging safe practices to prevent accidents
• Physical work involving lifting, bending, and climbing as necessary

Candidate Profile

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Minimum two years’ experience in retail or related trade roles
• Familiarity with automotive products or eagerness to learn
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
• Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
