Role Overview
The Assistant Branch Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager and acts as a key liaison between management, staff, and customers. Responsibilities include promoting new initiatives, maintaining high customer service standards, managing day-to-day sales operations, and supporting a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Branch Manager in driving sales and enhancing store performance
- Lead and motivate staff daily to foster a positive team environment
- Deliver exceptional and accurate customer service and advice
- Handle retail and trade sales transactions
- Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Promote a culture of safety, encouraging safe practices to prevent accidents
- Physical work involving lifting, bending, and climbing as necessary
Candidate Profile
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in retail or related trade roles
- Familiarity with automotive products or eagerness to learn
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
- Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
