Role Summary
The Head of Corporate FP&A will take charge of orchestrating a results-driven, integrated group financial planning cycle. This includes managing processes ranging from immediate liquidity forecasting to long-term financial projections that underpin corporate strategy and transactional activities such as joint ventures, refinancing, and mergers & acquisitions.
This role works closely with commercial and operations teams to analyze drivers behind recent financial results, evaluate commercial pipelines, manage expenses, oversee capital expenditure deployment, and track key performance indicators. Leveraging this comprehensive understanding, the incumbent will develop proactive, operational plans to maximize organizational performance. Additionally, the role involves leading special projects, pinpointing process enhancement opportunities, and implementing efficiency gains.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all group-wide and board-level financial reporting.
- Lead the forecasting and planning cycles, delivering required outputs for executive leadership and board members.
- Serve as a strategic commercial partner to senior leaders by providing insights through deep-dive analyses, issue investigation, scenario modeling, and more.
- Oversee financial activities related to transactions including refinancing, acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures, collaborating with stakeholders to define and communicate the group’s strategic direction.
- Own and enhance the planning and reporting tools, ensuring embedded insightful reporting and seamless integrated planning.
- Lead and nurture a skilled Corporate FP&A team to achieve high performance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience within FP&A at a sizable international corporation, preferably with prior involvement in group-level FP&A functions. Exposure to transactional processes such as M&A, joint ventures, and refinancing—whether from FP&A or advisory roles—is highly valued.
Strong interpersonal capabilities are essential to effectively influence across all organizational levels. Previous leadership or team management experience is required to build and direct a successful FP&A unit. Experience or familiarity with systems implementation, system development, or process improvement projects within finance teams will be considered advantageous as the company aims to leverage technology for added value.
