Role Overview
The Vice President of Finance plays a crucial leadership role in guiding Integra Beauty’s financial strategy and performance. As a member of the executive leadership team, this person will oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, safeguard financial integrity, and enhance company results using in-depth financial planning and analysis. Leading a compact yet high-capacity finance team, the VP partners with various departments to boost profitability, manage financial risks, and drive business growth through insightful data and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and steer financial strategy to align with long-term corporate goals and vision.
- Advise the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors on financial matters to support profitable decisions and sustainable value creation.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across multiple business lines to meet growth and performance objectives.
- Direct strategic projects including mergers and acquisitions, market expansion, and capital structure optimization.
- Collaborate across departments for evaluating investments, partnerships, and new ventures with comprehensive financial modeling and risk assessments.
- Administer and optimize multimillion-dollar budgets to ensure resource efficiency and alignment with corporate priorities.
- Oversee financial operations, inclusive of accounting, reporting, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and enforce robust financial policies, controls, and procedures to maintain transparency and accuracy.
- Ensure timely delivery of financial statements and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to secure stability while supporting growth initiatives.
- Lead and foster a high-achieving finance team, encouraging professional development and collaborative excellence.
- Deliver actionable financial insights and guidance to help business units attain goals and enhance outcomes.
- Head the financial planning and analysis function including budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial models tailored to the dynamic CPG beauty market.
- Analyze key metrics such as KPIs, sales patterns, and margins to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards for real-time financial and operational performance monitoring.
- Oversee risk management, addressing financial risks from market conditions, foreign exchange, regulations, and operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws and facilitate audit processes with external bodies.
- Act as primary contact for investors, providing transparent updates on financial status, strategies, and risks.
- Prepare essential financial materials for Board meetings and investor discussions including capital raising initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced credentials such as MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- At least 10 years in senior finance roles emphasizing financial management, strategy, budgeting, and forecasting within the CPG or beauty industries.
- Successful management of multimillion-dollar budgets with consistent financial target achievement.
- Expertise in strategic financial planning, modeling, and analysis, with comprehensive understanding of the CPG sector.
- Strong grasp of corporate finance, accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax legislation.
- Proven leadership experience developing and managing high-performing finance teams.
- Proficiency with financial systems and business intelligence tools such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, and Tableau.
- Excellent communication abilities, adept at conveying complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker capable of problem-solving and executing data-driven decisions to ensure long-term success.
- Experience collaborating with private equity, venture capital, or investors is advantageous.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Background in the beauty or consumer packaged goods industry with knowledge of specific sector financial and operational challenges.
- Familiarity with direct-to-consumer financial implications, digital marketing ROI, and e-commerce channels.
- Experience with international finance including foreign exchange exposure, cross-border tax compliance, and global accounting standards.
