About the Role

Our client is a prominent venture capital firm based in the UK that specializes in investing in innovative technology companies. With assets under management nearing a3150 million, the firm focuses primarily on leading pre-seed and seed funding rounds, investing up to approximately a33 million per deal. They are seeking a highly driven recent graduate with outstanding academic credentials, preferably from a STEM background, to join their team as a Graduate Investment Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source promising early-stage companies suitable for venture capital investment.
• Engage in communication with startup founders to understand and assess their business potential.
• Conduct comprehensive research and analyses to support investment decisions.
• Expand and maintain a network of relationships with founders and influential leaders within the relevant tech sectors.
• Collaborate with senior management on various projects, including the enhancement of the firm's data platform.
• Assist in organizing events aimed at founders and the broader innovation ecosystem.
• Support investor relations and the monitoring and reporting of investment activities.

Candidate Profile

• Recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates with top-tier academic achievements.
• Preferred candidates will have studied in STEM disciplines.
• A strong enthusiasm for technology, artificial intelligence, and data-driven industries is essential.
