Position Overview

The Goddard School at Avalon Rd & Porter Rd in Winter Garden, FL invites a passionate and proactive leader to join as School Director. This role is focused on managing daily school operations, supporting educators, and cultivating an enriching learning environment aligned with our high standards and proprietary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with brand standards, licensing, and regulatory policies in daily operations.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff to foster a cooperative and positive team atmosphere.
• Implement the Wonder of Learning® curriculum, promoting curiosity and lifelong learning among children.
• Develop and maintain strong connections with families and actively promote the school within the local community.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and well-prepared environment for children, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of teaching experience in early childhood education plus a minimum of one year in a leadership position.
• Deep understanding of child development principles and early learning best practices coupled with strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving competencies.
• A heartfelt dedication to children and commitment to delivering high-quality education.
• Successful completion of state-mandated background checks and satisfaction of state minimum requirements for education, experience, and credentials.
