Director of Education

About the Role

The Goddard School in Nashua, NH, is looking for a Director of Education to lead and supervise the school's educational programs, ensure classroom quality, facilitate faculty development, and maintain licensing compliance along with health and safety standards. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and school ownership, contributing to both the daily functioning and overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily educational activities within the school environment.
• Guarantee adherence to licensing regulations, Quality Assurance standards, and health and safety protocols.
• Oversee the maintenance of child and faculty records, including training documentation.
• Support the implementation of the curriculum and promote superior classroom practices.
• Lead and mentor faculty members, driving their professional growth and development.
• Conduct faculty orientations, organize meetings, and coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Participate in hiring processes including recruitment, interviewing, and retention strategies for faculty.
• Provide tours for prospective families and assist in enrollment and lead management processes.
• Coordinate school events to enhance family engagement and support marketing and community outreach efforts.
• Assist with family-teacher conferences and address educational needs or concerns.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a closely related field is required.
• Must hold Director qualification in the State of New Hampshire.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a management role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, curriculum, and licensing requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
