Role overview
Advara HeartCare is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator who is also a Registered Nurse to support cardiology research activity in Burwood, Sydney. This position is a full-time 1.0 FTE role on an initial 12-month contract, working within a national research team as the Burwood research clinic is established.

What the role involves
- Support and coordinate clinical study assessments, and record data in line with study protocols.
- Partner closely with investigators so research activities are completed effectively.
- Manage regulatory paperwork, essential documents, and study files.
- Assess potential participants for eligibility and help meet enrolment goals.
- Complete study documentation on time and assist with end-of-study close-out tasks.
- Work with the wider national research team to build the Burwood trials arm.
What you need
- At least 12 months of experience in clinical trials.
- Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
- Current IATA certification.
- A Bachelor of Nursing degree.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Strong clinical and patient management capability, including venepuncture.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred background
- Experience or familiarity with cardiology is highly regarded.
- High computer literacy, including use of clinical trials systems and Microsoft Office.
