Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse at Advara HeartCare, you will apply your expertise to deliver excellent care to patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions. Your role involves conducting non-invasive cardiac tests, assisting in advanced cardiac diagnostics, and providing empathetic patient care throughout their procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform non-invasive cardiac evaluations such as resting 12-lead ECGs, exercise stress ECG tests, attachment and review of ambulatory Holter, blood pressure, and event monitor recordings.
  • Assist patients professionally and empathetically during all diagnostic tests.
  • Prepare and administer Dobutamine intravenous infusions with training provided.
  • Support CT Coronary Angiogram procedures, including patient care and IV cannulation where experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidate Profile

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Strong commitment to exceptional patient care and advancing cardiovascular health.
  • Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Health Track, is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to engage compassionately and professionally with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility to travel between metropolitan and some regional locations.
