Job description
About the company
La Famiglia Table is an expanding organization centered on bringing people together through shared dining experiences. Its culture highlights teamwork, fresh ideas, customer focus, and lasting relationships. The team is encouraged to contribute original thinking, use data to guide decisions, and help grow a community around the brand. The company also places importance on honesty, inclusion, and a workplace where employees can develop professionally.
Role overview
The Vice President of Market Development will lead the planning and execution of the company’s growth strategy in a full-time remote capacity. The position is responsible for researching markets, identifying promising segments, and shaping go-to-market approaches that increase awareness, adoption, and revenue. This leader will work closely with sales, marketing, and product functions to coordinate initiatives, form strategic partnerships, and support pipeline creation for new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
This role requires setting clear targets, tracking key performance indicators, and adjusting strategy based on data and market feedback. The VP will also mentor team members, prepare recommendations for executive leadership, and ensure market development efforts remain consistent with the company’s brand and values.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates bring strong analytical ability to interpret market trends, customer input, and performance results. They should be comfortable turning business and strategic planning into practical growth plans, and they need a solid background in sales and business development to help build pipelines and negotiate partnerships.
Additional qualifications
Applicants should have experience in market development, growth strategy, or a similar executive-level leadership role. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are important, along with the ability to influence teams across functions. The role also calls for someone who can stay organized, manage several priorities at once, and perform well in a fast-moving remote environment. Experience in hospitality, food service, or consumer brands is an advantage but not mandatory.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is considered a plus.
