Job description
Role Overview
This leadership role involves designing and executing the global strategy for adidas' Entertainment & Influencer Marketing (EIM) division. The position is responsible for cultivating and managing meaningful partnerships with celebrities, influencers, and marketing amplifiers to elevate brand perception and drive purchase decisions worldwide. It includes oversight of product collaborations, advertising initiatives, events, and brand activations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate, implement, and oversee the global and market-specific EIM strategies, managing outreach and negotiations with culture marketing talents and partners.
- Define strategic direction and initiatives to engage next-generation influencers aligned with key brand priorities.
- Lead influencer seeding for product launches by aligning influencer partnerships with business unit strategies and consumer targets.
- Ensure seamless integration of celebrity assets into brand marketing campaigns and collaborate closely on product and marketing initiatives involving key personalities.
- Direct and guide global EIM teams by providing clear communication of business objectives and strategies.
- Understand product development and brand marketing methodologies to maximize use of EIM assets and advise internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Serve as primary contact for top-tier celebrities and influencers.
- Collaborate proactively with external partners, such as agencies and agents, to synchronize adidas’ brand presence with global influencer opportunities.
- Represent global culture marketing efforts, act as spokesperson, and align activities across business units and functions within the Global Brand organization.
- Provide comprehensive guidance and protocols for EIM teams across markets, establishing efficient processes and collaboration methods.
- Administer the global EIM marketing working budget and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including adherence to adidas' Fair Play Code of Conduct.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent professional background.
- Over 15 years of marketing experience involving brand management, product, and activation roles.
- At least 8 years of experience managing global markets or working within a top-tier adidas market region.
- Minimum 8 years of managerial experience.
- At least 5 years of experience specifically in entertainment industry, celebrity, or influencer marketing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- In-depth understanding of the entertainment landscape, including music, film/TV, and digital sectors.
- Capability to leverage and expand networks within entertainment industries.
- Broad knowledge of marketing’s impact on consumer motivation.
- Adeptness in devising innovative marketing strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and influence skills with consumer-facing experience.
- Ability to successfully navigate and lead within complex, dynamic environments with minimal supervision.
- Experience managing budgets and multiple teams across diverse functional areas and hierarchical levels.
Additional Information
Adidas supports hybrid working, requiring office presence Monday through Thursday, with optional remote work on Fridays unless in-person collaboration or presentation is needed. The position is based in Los Angeles, California.
