Job description

About Deloitte

Deloitte is a place for people who want to contribute, not just participate. The organisation values curiosity, energy, and the opportunity to work with talented colleagues on important challenges. Its focus is on creating meaningful impact through purposeful work.

About the team

The Technology and Transformation practice is hiring a Specialist Senior for its HR Strategy and Technology group, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors implementation.

Role overview

In this position, you will support a range of client assignments centred on improving and implementing SAP SuccessFactors solutions for HR processes. The role involves consulting with clients, shaping functional requirements, converting those needs into system designs, and configuring end-to-end solutions that align with SAP SuccessFactors best practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise clients on moving to SAP HCM cloud-based solutions.
  • Assess business needs and capture functional requirements.
  • Convert business requirements into configuration objects and solution designs using SAP SuccessFactors best practices and XML expertise.
  • Set up complete SAP SuccessFactors solutions from end to end.
  • Implement system settings based on configuration workbooks and client-specific needs.
  • Develop test cases, test plans, and test scripts for execution.
  • Deliver training for client administrators and end users.
  • Manage change requests, end-to-end testing, and supporting documentation.
  • Resolve live-system issues promptly when they arise.

Qualifications and experience

You should bring at least 5 years of experience in HR, people systems, or talent development system roles, ideally gained in consulting or professional services. A bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Science is required. You must hold a valid SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification and at least one additional certification such as Onboarding 2.0, Recruiting, or Performance and Goals.

Strong subject matter knowledge of HR systems, processes, and practices is essential, along with hands-on experience designing and delivering SAP SuccessFactors implementations. Experience with SAP delivery tools such as SAP Cloud ALM, Signavio, and SAP Best Practices is an advantage. You should also have experience supporting customers moving from on-premise SAP HCM to cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors.

The role calls for strong numerical and analytical ability, sound problem-solving skills, and the capacity to identify root causes and present practical solutions. Good interpersonal skills are important, along with the ability to build trust across different stakeholders. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential, and you must be able to work effectively with people at all levels of an organisation.
