Position Overview
The role of HR Specialist / Office Admin for BTSE's Dubai office involves managing daily human resource operations such as payroll processing, benefits management, compliance with UAE labor laws, staff onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, and executing HR policies. This position demands an in-depth understanding of regional labor legislation, meticulous attention to detail, and agility to ensure uninterrupted HR functions in a rapidly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll ensuring adherence to UAE tax, social security, and labor law requirements
- Compile and submit payroll documentation to headquarters for uniformity and compliance validations
- Maintain accurate and secure employee records, contracts, and HR files
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and exit procedures compliant with established policies
- Coordinate the administration of benefits such as health insurance and leave entitlements
- Develop, implement, and uphold HR policies aligned with company standards and local regulations
- Address routine HR employee inquiries, escalating complex matters accordingly
- Manage administrative office tasks including inventory of supplies, vendor relations, and day-to-day logistical needs
- Contribute to HR projects like policy enhancements, audits, and compliance assessments
- Support the rollout of HR and administrative initiatives consistent with BTSE's overarching strategic goals
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in HR operations, payroll, or employee services, ideally within multinational or technology sectors
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor legislation, payroll procedures, and statutory compliance
- Proven ability in managing employee benefits and maintaining HR documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a dynamic setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with familiarity of standard HR administrative workflows
