Payroll Specialist

Role Overview

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding and refining payroll processes within Germany. Currently, payroll services are managed with the support of an external provider. You will collaborate closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate compensation processing and prepare for establishing an internal payroll function.

Key Responsibilities

• Taking charge of preparing monthly payroll statements and eventually managing the entire payroll process in-house.
• Coordinating the transition from using an external payroll service provider to fully internal payroll administration.
• Overseeing the implementation, setup, and ongoing enhancement of the new HR and payroll system.
• Serving as the go-to contact for employees, managers, government agencies, and health insurance providers for matters concerning payroll, salary calculations, income tax, and social security.
• Ensuring the accuracy of personnel and payroll data while complying with all relevant legal requirements.
• Collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and Recruiting departments to actively shape the development of payroll operations.
