Position Overview

As the Site Manager of the Hobart Contact Centre, you will be the senior-most leader accountable for the site's safe, compliant, and efficient functioning. This role demands ownership over safety standards, operational performance, workforce management, commercial outcomes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee critical site operations ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial success.
  • Establish strategic collaborations with regulators, airport authorities, unions, and senior executives to influence outcomes at high organizational levels.
  • Lead large, diverse teams fostering a culture of inclusivity and continuous improvement.
  • Manage workforce optimization, financial planning including budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Drive initiatives supporting strategic priorities with a customer-centric and people-first approach.
  • Lead operational change, enhance processes, and manage effective responses to disruptions and emergencies.

Candidate Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years' experience in senior operational leadership within complex, customer-oriented settings.
  • Proven capabilities in managing large-scale operations delivering excellence in safety, service, and operational targets.
  • Experience in leading diverse workforces, promoting engagement, capability building, and exemplary performance.
  • Expertise in industrial and employment relations including collective bargaining, union engagement, workforce consultations, and handling disciplinary and performance management processes.
  • Commercially savvy with demonstrated success in managing profit and loss, budgeting, and financial forecasts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence diverse external and internal parties.
