About the Role
Enhance Therapies invites applications for a full-time Rehab Aide position based in Sandy Spring, MD, working within a skilled nursing facility and long-term care environment. This position entails assisting patients during therapy sessions and collaborating closely with therapists in a supportive clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients to therapy appointments as scheduled.
- Set up and prepare therapy equipment for use by therapists.
- Support therapists with patient care tasks like positioning and dressing, adhering to state guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation in both physical and electronic medical records.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and properly endorsed by supervising physicians.
- Clean and upkeep therapy equipment following organizational protocols.
Candidate Qualifications
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or healthcare preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with clinical professionals effectively.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing documentation accurately.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients and staff.
- Comfortable standing for extended durations and assisting patients physically.
