Job description
About CrowdStrike
CrowdStrike is a worldwide cybersecurity company focused on protecting the people, processes, and technologies that power modern businesses. Founded in 2011, the company’s mission is to prevent breaches using an advanced AI-native security platform. Its cloud-scale systems handle nearly 3 trillion events every day, and that volume continues to rise. Customers across industries rely on CrowdStrike to keep operations running, communities protected, and daily life moving forward.
The company emphasizes flexibility, ownership, and a strong culture of responsible AI use, experimentation, and innovation. CrowdStrikers are encouraged to use an AI-first approach to speed up execution, deepen expertise, surface insights, and solve difficult problems. The team looks for people with strong passion, a focus on innovation, and commitment to customers, the community, and one another.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for selling enterprise security software across CrowdStrike’s product portfolio and generating new revenue from first-time customers, mainly through flexible and scalable licensing models. It is a field sales role centered on planning, prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
The role also supports the first phase of the customer relationship after a deal closes by working with internal teams that handle onboarding, fast adoption, expansion, and reduction of flexible licensing usage. Collaboration is a key part of the job, with regular coordination across Account Management, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Channel and Alliances, Finance, Customer Support, and outside partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, prospect, and close new revenue opportunities in assigned accounts by building relationships with key decision-makers, often through flexible licensing approaches such as Falcon Flex.
- Create and carry out a detailed business plan for each account, including understanding the customer’s main needs and aligning CrowdStrike’s value to those business priorities.
- Partner with internal teams during onboarding, early product adoption, growth, and the handoff of accounts to expansion or renewal Account Managers after the initial period.
- Keep CRM and marketing systems updated with accurate customer and opportunity information, including contacts, titles, deal value, product details, sales stage, probability, business pain points, and future commitments.
- Own forecasting accuracy, quarterly revenue delivery, and execution of agreed account and business plans.
- Increase awareness of CrowdStrike’s offerings, strengthen brand presence, and highlight successful customer outcomes.
- Share customer insights and feedback with internal teams related to products, systems, and business processes.
- Work mainly in the field rather than from a home office or company office to complete job duties.
- Operate with expert knowledge of the company’s products and services and manage larger, more complex accounts with higher quotas.
- Engage routinely with senior customer stakeholders, including executive-level leaders up to C-suite decision makers, usually within enterprise or similarly complex public sector account sets.
Requirements
- Strong senior-level experience applying professional judgment and company goals to solve complex problems in practical and creative ways.
- Deep understanding of the industry and of how customers make decisions, including their objectives, strategies, and business goals.
- Advanced presentation, customer service, financial and business acumen, and negotiation abilities across all levels of customer interaction.
- Ability to see the full business and technical context behind major account opportunities.
- Self-driven mindset with leadership presence and the ability to motivate others to act.
- Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to build trust with both internal teams and external customers.
- Solid command of sales methodologies, selling techniques, the full sales cycle for security software, business value concepts, and the company’s offerings.
- Prior use of AI tools to improve decisions, simplify workflows, raise efficiency, and support business results.
- BA/BS degree or an equivalent educational background is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation and equity awards.
- Comprehensive physical and mental wellness support.
- Paid vacation and holidays.
- Paid parental and adoption leave.
- Professional development opportunities for employees at all levels.
- Employee networks, neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build community.
- Workplace culture with strong amenities.
- Great Place to Work Certified™ globally.

The company supports veterans and individuals with disabilities through its affirmative action program. Employment decisions are based on legitimate job-related criteria and are made without discrimination on protected characteristics.
