Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter for a 4-month onsite contract position based in Burlington, ON. This role focuses on delivering efficient and consistent recruitment activities to attract talented candidates and support a great customer experience by ensuring the right hires are made.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an excellent candidate journey from initial contact through to hiring aligned with company values.
- Utilize global recruiting tools and direct sourcing methods for candidate identification and engagement.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication throughout the hiring process.
- Build and manage talent pools within software systems effectively.
- Screen, interview, and present qualified candidate slates with timely execution.
- Collaborate with country stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and manage expectations.
- Embed Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion principles within all recruitment efforts.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for both high-volume hourly roles and salaried corporate positions.
- Lead intake discussions with hiring managers, develop talent pipelines, conduct thorough screening and interviews, as well as manage offer negotiations and pre-boarding activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing labor market insights and strategic recruitment recommendations to leaders and hiring managers across various business sectors.
- Conduct deep candidate evaluations that assess motivators, capabilities, potential fit with company culture, and values alignment.
- Work in close partnership with local HR (PNC) teams to address unit-specific logistics and requirements.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least 3 years of demonstrated full-cycle recruitment experience including both high-volume general labor and professional roles.
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build virtual collaborative relationships and work independently with initiative and responsibility.
- Experience hiring talent in agile, fast-changing environments for projects and assignments.
- Proficient knowledge of candidate assessment, labor market trends, and interview techniques.
- Understanding and representation of company corporate identity, core values, and commitment to enhancing everyday life for many people.
- Genuine passion for people and fostering positive candidate and co-worker experiences.
- Strong ambassador for company culture and values.
- Enjoyment working in dynamic and diverse environments blending tactical and operational thinking.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of CAD 35.00.
