Contract Recruiter - Environmental, Health & Safety Consulting

Position Overview

U.S. Compliance seeks a knowledgeable Contract Recruiter to join our team temporarily, supporting talent acquisition during a busy recruitment period. This role primarily covers the full hiring lifecycle for Health & Safety Consultant and Environmental Specialist positions across various regional and remote locations.

Key Duties

• Identify, assess, and interview candidates for Health & Safety and Environmental roles in multiple regions.
• Manage candidate pipelines and job requisition workflows utilizing the Greenhouse ATS.
• Create and implement targeted sourcing approaches using LinkedIn, industry-specific job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
• Handle coordination of offer issuance, background screenings, and onboarding processes.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to clarify job needs, define competency frameworks, and provide hiring support.
• Keep accurate candidate documentation and perform recruiting reports.
• Participate in recruitment-focused events and outreach efforts including industry conferences like ASSP.
• Support employee onboarding and internal People & Culture activities.

Essential Qualifications

• Over three years’ experience managing the complete recruiting cycle or talent acquisition processes.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, particularly Greenhouse.
• Solid experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or equivalent sourcing tools.
• Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with aptitude for thriving in dynamic environments.

Desirable Qualifications

• Familiarity with recruiting for the Environmental, Health & Safety sector or consulting industry.
• Understanding competencies related to Health & Safety and Environmental Specialist roles.
• Knowledge of recruiting metrics and SHRM standards.
• Experience recruiting within Texas job markets.
