About Edenred

Edenred is a global leader in digital platforms focused on corporate services such as employee benefits, professional mobility, and B2B payment solutions. Operating in 44 countries, it connects over 60 million users to more than 2 million merchants and serves upwards of 1 million client companies.

The company provides a variety of solutions enhancing employee engagement with offerings like meal and gift vouchers, wellness rewards, and preferential purchasing deals. It also covers mobility-related services including multi-energy solutions, EV charging, fleet management, tolls, and parking, alongside corporate payment options such as virtual cards. Edenred collaborates with over 120 partners distributing their services through its platform.

The group’s purpose, "Enrich connections. For good.", aims to improve users' quality of life and purchasing power, facilitate professional drivers' work, promote healthier and sustainable consumption, and enhance business attractiveness and efficiency while supporting the employment market and local economies.

With a workforce of 12,000 employees, Edenred generated approximately €45 billion in business volume in 2024, mainly via apps, online platforms, and cards. It is publicly traded on the Euronext Paris stock exchange and is part of various sustainability and financial indices.

Market Context in UAE

Edenred UAE is a rapidly expanding payroll service provider catering to 15,000+ businesses and over 2.2 million underbanked employees. It partners with more than 10 banks and 35 financial institutions, providing a unique employment payroll management solution and enabling employees to manage salaries easily through a feature-rich mobile app offering money transfers, mobile recharges, card services, and more.

Role Overview

The Product Manager will lead product strategy and execution for a designated segment within Edenred UAE, balancing startup-like autonomy with multinational scale. The role may focus on financial crime and compliance — streamlining onboarding without compromising controls, enhancing fraud detection, and translating regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions — or on consumer-facing products involving remittance, cards, wallets, and lending services aimed at 2.2 million users. Success here involves managing regulatory constraints alongside growth challenges simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully own a product area by identifying critical issues and levers, creating prioritized roadmaps that align with resource limits, and responsibly managing company assets.
  • Articulate and champion a clear product vision ensuring alignment across teams, enabling autonomous decision-making consistent with the vision.
  • Lead discovery processes by independently determining relevant questions and stakeholders, appropriately deciding when research is necessary, and converting insights into actionable decisions.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying critical assumptions, prioritizing them, and selecting suitable validation tests that balance speed and certainty.
  • Make data-driven decisions by choosing meaningful metrics, honestly interpreting experiments, and making confident scale-or-pivot determinations using tools such as Excel, CleverTap, and SQL.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering by crafting precise product requirement documents (PRDs), reducing feasibility risks early, enforcing quality specifications, and removing blockers proactively.
  • Focus on outcomes rather than outputs by delivering initiatives and key results on schedule and transparently communicating progress.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate problem-solving discussions, and escalate to senior leadership when necessary to remove barriers.
  • Communicate efficiently across levels, tailoring narratives for data, design, engineering, and senior executives, making trade-offs understandable.
  • Maintain close attention to end-users, predominantly underbanked individuals and first-time app users sending money internationally, ensuring product decisions meet their needs.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in product management with proven independent ownership and delivery of products or product areas.
  • Demonstrable impact on key performance metrics and successful achievement of KPIs or OKRs beyond merely launching features.
  • Versatility to operate within regulated environments while addressing consumer growth challenges; experience in payments, fintech, fraud, compliance, or high-scale consumer products is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to set thresholds, assess risks in data, size market opportunities, and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Technical proficiency sufficient to engage in meaningful discussions about APIs, automation, and engineering trade-offs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently without constant supervision.
  • Ability to influence, communicate clearly, build consensus, and write construction-ready specifications for engineering teams.

Desired Work Traits

  • Ownership: Taking responsibility for outcomes, proactively identifying potential issues, and reliably following through on commitments.
  • Collaboration: Actively listening, building trust across functions, and engaging stakeholders constructively.
  • Problem-solving: Applying creative and structured methods leveraging both data and intuition to resolve challenges.
  • Drive: Exhibiting proactive, entrepreneurial initiative in overcoming obstacles and seeking help promptly when needed.
  • Curiosity: A genuine interest in user experience and the technical workings of products.

Additional Expectations

Senior candidates will additionally provide coaching and mentoring to junior product managers, review their work, and engage in recruiting efforts.

Team Interaction

  • Direct reporting to a Product Lead or Senior Product Manager based on the specific business area.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Data, Compliance, Financial Crime, Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, and fellow product managers.

Equal Opportunity Statement

Edenred UAE is committed to diversity and inclusion, welcoming applications from qualified individuals regardless of nationality, gender, age, religion, or background.
