Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a dedicated People & Culture Business Partner to join our expanding People & Safety team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role provides a unique chance to influence the future of our workforce, impact business success, and foster a high-performance culture. The position is based primarily in our Docklands office with flexible hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Forge strong relationships and act as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders across multiple portfolios within the Store Support Office (SSO).
- Collaborate closely with HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to shape and support initiatives in talent management, learning, rewards, and employee engagement.
- Lead the implementation and management of HR programs such as performance evaluations, talent reviews, reward systems, engagement efforts, and cultural initiatives.
- Coach leaders to enhance capabilities in areas like people management, performance development, and team effectiveness.
- Manage talent identification, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce.
- Offer guidance on employee relations while ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies.
- Drive the administration of performance review cycles and support compensation and reward programs.
- Partner in executing organizational change, culture-building activities, and boosting employee engagement.
- Utilize workforce analytics and insights to inform strategies and improve people outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Between 4 to 6 years of progressive human resources experience, including a minimum of 2 years in senior advisory or business partner roles or equivalent stakeholder-facing positions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and deliver HR programs aligned with business objectives.
- Experience in roles focused on execution of HR initiatives developed by Centres of Excellence or corporate HR teams.
- Track record of effectively driving organizational change, culture programs, and people-related projects.
- Previous experience within ASX-listed companies, large retail operations, consumer goods firms, or multi-location service organizations is preferred.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, program implementation, and demonstrating tangible business impact through people management.
