Role Overview

This position involves rostered shifts Sunday to Thursday with varied timings. Candidates must confirm availability for these days. As a Sales Assistant, you will be central to delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring shoppers have an exceptional experience and build a positive association with the JD Sports brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive and professional brand representative at all times
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings to assist customers effectively
• Deliver personalized one-on-one customer service
• Handle customer inquiries and complete sales transactions efficiently
• Collaborate with management and the store team to meet key performance indicators and targets
• Assist with tasks like visual merchandising setup and store cleanliness
• Report any customer complaints promptly to management
• Complete mandatory training related to products, policies, and procedures consistently

• Experience in customer service within retail, hospitality, or similar sectors
• Committed to providing excellent service and exceeding expectations
• Interest in sports fashion or familiarity with major brands is preferred
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Eagerness to tackle challenges and acquire new skills
• Strong communication abilities with a customer and team engagement focus
• Capable of multitasking efficiently
• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
