About Prosper Fingal
Prosper Fingal, a division of the Prosper Group, offers support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism throughout North County Dublin. Our goal is to empower those we assist by fostering independence, creating opportunities, and aiding in living fulfilling and community-connected lives.
Role Summary
We are expanding our Day Services teams in anticipation of new admissions starting in September, seeking dedicated Care Assistants to work part-time (20 hours weekly) across various Prosper Fingal sites. Permanent contracts are offered with specific locations discussed during recruitment.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal growth.
- Encourage independence, choice, and inclusive participation.
- Facilitate engagement in social, recreational, and community events.
- Help individuals achieve their personal objectives.
- Forge positive connections with clients, their families, and fellow team members.
- Collaborate effectively within a committed team environment.
Essential Requirements
- Possession of a QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
- Capability to work flexibly and cooperatively as part of a team.
- A current, clean manual driving license is preferable but not mandatory.
- Prior experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities is advantageous.
