Role Overview
Queensland Museum Kurilpa is searching for a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager, Campaigns to spearhead impactful campaigns that engage a diverse range of audiences. This role requires thriving in a fast-moving setting, balancing several priorities and delivering top-quality results punctually and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the design, execution, and assessment of comprehensive marketing campaigns for exhibitions, events, and brand initiatives across both digital and traditional platforms. Your aim will be to craft creative, audience-centered strategies that boost visitation, enhance engagement, and help meet revenue and attendance objectives.
Additionally, you will guide a motivated team, encouraging collaboration, responsibility, and excellent deliverables. Coordination with both internal stakeholders and external partners—including vendors and cultural organizations—is essential to broaden campaign reach and influence.
A significant element involves leveraging audience insights by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to refine targeting, steer campaign decisions, and measure outcomes, contributing to audience research and reporting methods.
The role includes management of ticketing partnerships with QTIX to ensure alignment with campaign tactics. Ensuring all marketing work adheres to Queensland Museum's policies, legal regulations, and safety standards is mandatory, alongside promoting workplace health and safety norms.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering multifaceted campaigns from planning through evaluation and exhibit strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, advertising, and content, is crucial. A strong analytical skillset to utilize audience data to enhance campaign efficacy is needed. Experience with ticketing systems and partnerships is an asset.
Strategic thinking, innovation, and a results-oriented mindset are essential, combined with excellent relationship-building skills and leadership marked by professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude within a fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications and Preferences
While not mandatory, candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in communication, media, business, marketing, or related disciplines along with more than five years of relevant experience will be highly regarded. Experience within the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums), arts domain, community engagement, stakeholder management, or high-pressure environments is advantageous.
