A full driving license and personal vehicle are strongly preferred due to the site's location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform machine and manual washing of glassware; conduct thorough quality checks for damages and cleanliness, dispose of defective items, and accurately document all findings.
  • Maintain and replenish glassware stocks in regulated laboratory settings, ensuring inventory levels are adequate and placing orders as necessary, including handling ad hoc requests.
  • Clean and regularly decontaminate specialized laboratory equipment to maintain operational standards.
  • Conduct routine freezer de-icing procedures.
  • Operate laboratory equipment following procedural guidelines, site policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Keep comprehensive records of equipment servicing, routine experiments, and relevant administrative tasks.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer-focused roles such as warehouse, hospitality, or retail is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficient in IT applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Applicants should be proactive 'go-getters' who enjoy practical work, have an understanding of stock management, and hold an interest in science.
  • Must be residing in or able to commute easily to Dublin.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferable.
  • Comfortable working within a customer-focused environment.

Working Hours

Core working days are Monday through Friday with standard daytime hours.

Benefits and Opportunities

  • 25 days of annual leave in addition to public holidays.
  • Eligibility for discretionary annual bonus scheme.
  • Complimentary parking facilities on site.
  • Opportunities for professional development and learning new skills.
  • Enrollment in a pension scheme.
  • Potential for permanent contract following successful six-month probation.
  • Immediate start dates available.
