Working Model

Team Overview
The Investment Strategy team develops compelling narratives for both external and internal stakeholders and translates investment research into practical portfolios. Their work includes intricate custom analysis, mandate design, strategy evolution, product development, client meetings, event presentations, and authorship of research papers.
Role Overview
This role suits early career professionals, providing comprehensive classroom training encompassing multiple subjects, interactive sessions, supplementary study, and peer collaboration. Completion of three training phases equips analysts with foundational investment knowledge and a thorough understanding of Parametric's culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and generate data supporting the active management of Parametric’s investment strategies.
- Conduct analyses and assist in drafting responses for prospects, clients, and internal teams.
- Employ proprietary optimization tools to build hypothetical equity index portfolios tailored to prospective client objectives.
- Maintain departmental professionalism, accuracy, responsiveness, and client service standards.
- Contribute ideas to boost operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance client experiences.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of all relevant Parametric products.
- Pursue further professional development, including graduate studies or CFA certification.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills combining logic, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Strong eagerness to learn and apply quantitative investment management approaches.
- Excellent analytical writing and research abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
- Proactive initiative with a capacity to thrive in an inclusive, collaborative team setting.
- Effective communication and organizational skills capable of handling demanding deadlines.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn Excel, programming languages, and other analytical tools.
- Preferred but not mandatory: CFA progress or similar financial credentials, and a foundation in investment science and modern portfolio theory.
