Position Overview
The Customer Business Specialist plays a crucial role by providing operational, analytical, and project support to the commercial team. This newly created position focuses on improving customer onboarding, maintaining accurate business data, supporting sales efforts, and streamlining processes to help drive the company’s customer business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the setup of new customers, maintain accurate customer records, and process all related documentation such as product listings, pricing, and promotional programs.
- Support National Account Managers with project coordination tasks including managing product samples, assisting with trade asset installation and removal, maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tracking project milestones.
- Ensure customer and business data is accurate, timely, and comprehensive across multiple systems to support commercial planning and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of customer presentations, trade shows, and sales initiatives by gathering data, generating insights, preparing materials, and coordinating logistical execution.
- Proactively identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities within the commercial team, offering recommendations and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least one year of experience in roles such as sales support, business operations, customer service, project coordination, or analytics.
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborate well across teams.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy.

- Experience assisting sales, commercial, or account management teams.
- Skills in data analysis, reporting, or customer data management.
- Background in project coordination or tracking.
