Position Overview
The Nestlé Professional Solutions division, focusing on the Grab & Go / Desserts segment, seeks a Senior Brand Marketing Associate. This individual will bring substantial experience in product management and a proven track record of driving business growth through effective go-to-market strategies. The role involves developing strategic business and marketing initiatives, managing a portfolio that includes Hot Pockets, Stouffer’s, DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine, Tombstone, Nestlé Toll House, and Libby’s, and achieving yearly financial and business goals while setting the stage for future expansion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth insights into customer demographics, behaviors, motivations, and purchase journeys using data and research to identify avenues for growth.
- Transform market data and trends into actionable marketing innovations, brand communication efforts, and market entry strategies.
- Create B2B business and marketing plans for the NPS Grab & Go / Desserts category, including managing communication and sales strategies informed by industry knowledge and sales analytics.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans in partnership with sales and commercial teams to foster growth.
- Oversee portfolio management of NP Hot Pockets, Nestlé Toll House, and Libby’s, including profit and loss responsibilities as well as asset development.
- Collaborate with innovation leads and cross-functional teams for bakery and handheld product platforms aligning with business objectives.
- Lead the efforts with external marketing agencies to design demand generation strategies and deliver marketing assets and campaigns.
- Work with retail brand teams on launching and renovating products relevant for out-of-home consumption.
- Manage marketing budgets ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing return on investment.
- Coordinate distributor marketing initiatives involving sales data analysis, strategy development, and tactical execution.
- Explore e-commerce growth opportunities and collaborate with digital teams for effective implementation.
- Support innovation and renovation projects based on consumer and market insights by leading cross-functional teams and external partners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a closely related business discipline, or comparable experience.
- Master’s degree or MBA in business/marketing is desirable.
- Knowledgeable about budgeting processes, controls, and procedures.
- Excellent negotiation capabilities and relationship-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills for research and strategy formulation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt fast, work autonomously, and deliver results.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with determination, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach.
- Basic financial understanding, including risk and return calculations related to business decisions.
- Proficient in prioritizing workload, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
- Confident presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with syndicated data sources such as IRI/Circana preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in marketing, brand management, or product management roles involving new or existing product strategy and implementation.
- Proven leadership in driving cross-functional teams and agencies to meet brand and business objectives.
- Hands-on experience managing profit and loss and excellent strategic planning skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this salaried role is $115,000 to $145,000 annually, with the final compensation depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
