Overview
Join a mission-driven team to deliver a pioneering treatment for patients affected by Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory condition that is often underserved. As an Immunology Therapeutic Specialist, you will be instrumental in launching a novel therapy, collaborating closely with dermatology providers to enhance patient care and widen access to cutting-edge treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans to meet sales objectives and ensure a successful product introduction.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with dermatologists, key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and large dermatology practices.
- Conduct persuasive and evidence-driven clinical presentations covering disease mechanisms, treatment protocols, effectiveness, safety, and patient management strategies.
- Manage complex patient access and reimbursement situations by working alongside Market Access and Patient Services teams to facilitate therapy initiation and adherence.
- Gather field insights and collaborate across departments including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Access to drive overall business growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare sales roles.
- Experience competing in specialty markets, especially with systemic biologics or oral JAK inhibitors, demonstrating consistent strong sales results.
- Collaborative experience working with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams.
- Excellent clinical selling skills capable of conveying complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Must reside within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license; travel within territory required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over three years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty healthcare sales.
- Background in dermatology or immunology sales; experience with HS or other rare and underserved patient populations is highly valued.
- Prior involvement in product launches with demonstrated ability to surpass sales targets.
- Knowledgeable about patient access, reimbursement procedures, and fulfillment workflows.
- Familiarity working within institutional systems, academic centers, and large dermatology groups with direct sales exposure.
