Overview

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Dermatology to support key territories including Frankfurt, Kassel, and Saarbrücken. This role is field-based and requires fluency in German along with strong English skills. As a pivotal member of the Medical Affairs team, you will contribute to advancing our expanding Inflammation & Autoimmunity portfolio in Germany, a top strategic market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company and foster scientific and medical dialogues within the dermatology community.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain engagement strategies with Key External Experts and investigators, building enduring professional connections.
  • Provide support for medical launch preparations for upcoming products, including scientific positioning and pre-launch educational efforts.
  • Discuss and disseminate scientific data related to company products with relevant stakeholders such as dermatologists.
  • Collect, prioritize, and convey medical insights to guide medical strategies and cross-functional decisions.
  • Organize and facilitate advisory boards, round tables, and investigator meetings.
  • Support both company-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials.
  • Engage in real-world evidence generation activities, including non-interventional studies, registries, and collaborative research.
  • Collaborate closely with the Key Account Management team regarding medical information for external audiences.
  • Address unsolicited inquiries related to company’s marketed and pipeline products.
  • Provide frequent updates and feedback to medical and clinical teams derived from interactions with external experts and investigators.
  • Exhibit leadership and subject matter expertise in medical and scientific affairs internally and externally.
  • Conduct training sessions on medically relevant topics for internal teams.
  • Comply rigorously with corporate standard operating procedures and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements governing scientific communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Share best practices with peers in the MSL team.
  • Uphold and model the organisation's core corporate values and contribute to a strong culture of business ethics and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in German and strong proficiency in English are mandatory.
  • An advanced degree in clinical or scientific fields such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or similar is required.
  • Prior experience in dermatology and/or autoimmune disease areas is preferred.
  • Previous employment as a Medical Science Liaison or in related medical roles is essential.
  • Experience in the field setting is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, diplomatic skills, and effective expectation management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities combined with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays, to visit thought leaders, attend internal meetings, medical congresses, and trainings.
