Immunology Therapeutic Specialist - Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS)

This role focuses on launching a breakthrough therapy for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory disease that is often underserved. As an Immunology Therapeutic Specialist, you will collaborate closely with dermatology professionals to enhance treatment outcomes and broaden access to novel therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement territory and account strategies to accomplish sales objectives and ensure a successful product launch.
• Establish and maintain trusted connections with dermatologists, key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and large dermatology groups.
• Conduct engaging, evidence-driven clinical discussions covering disease understanding, treatment protocols, efficacy, safety, and patient management.
• Manage complex access and reimbursement challenges by working alongside Market Access and Patient Services teams to support patient initiation and adherence to therapy.
• Gather frontline insights and collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Access departments to advance business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
• Demonstrable success in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare sales.
• Experience in competitive specialty markets and/or systemic biologics or oral JAK inhibitor therapies with a proven record of strong sales performance.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams.
• Expertise in clinical sales with the aptitude to clearly explain complex scientific information.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory; must reside in the area. A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty healthcare sales roles.
• Sales experience in dermatology and/or immunology fields; commercial experience with HS or other rare and underserved patient populations.
• Prior involvement in product launches with a history of exceeding sales targets.
• Comprehensive understanding of patient access, reimbursement, and fulfillment mechanisms.
• Familiarity with academic medical centers, institutional systems, and large dermatology groups through direct sales experience.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is between USD 140,000 and USD 230,000 annually.
