Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (m/f/d) specializing in transformation, labor law, works council relations, and organizational development to join our team as soon as possible. This role requires a seasoned professional who not only supports but actively shapes change. Acting as a strategic advisor to executives, management, and leaders, you will confidently guide them through complex change processes and manage negotiations with employee representatives in a legally compliant, solution-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR, labor law, and organizational consultancy to management and leadership.
- Lead and support transformation, restructuring, change management projects, reorganizations, and operational changes.
- Design and implement sustainable HR and organizational strategies to advance the company.
- Coach and support managers during change initiatives, personnel actions, employee relations, and challenging discussions.
- Independently collaborate and negotiate with works councils, central works councils, and other employee bodies.
- Draft, negotiate, and execute works agreements, social compensations, and reconciliation agreements while ensuring compliance with labor, tariff, and works constitution laws.
- Manage complex labor law topics in cooperation with internal and external legal advisors and coordinate escalated employee issues.
- Enhance leadership capabilities, collaboration, organizational structures, and employee engagement leveraging data analytics and people metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree focusing on HR, labor law, business law, business administration, psychology, or equivalent qualifications.
- Several years of experience in HR Business Partner, HR Lead, HR Manager, or similar roles within a co-determined company.
- Proven expertise in transformation, restructuring, and change projects with complex organizational changes.
- In-depth knowledge of individual and collective labor law as well as works constitution law.
- Substantial practical experience working and negotiating with works councils and employee representatives.
- Experience negotiating and implementing works agreements, social compensations, and reconciliation agreements.
- Strong advisory skills, confident presence, and advanced stakeholder management with executives, leaders, and employee bodies.
- Background in organizational development, change management, employee relations, and engagement with an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work style utilizing key figures and data-driven decision making.
