Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Hiring and HR Business Partner functions with end-to-end responsibility over talent acquisition and HR operations. This role involves developing scalable hiring strategies, coaching managers, and influencing company culture. Reporting directly to the Founder and Head of People, you will collaborate with leaders across Corporate, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology divisions. This is a high-accountability, hands-on position critical to delivering top talent and enhancing the employee experience, while building the people function in line with the company’s rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Manage recruitment processes company-wide including corporate and leadership roles; construct strategic hiring plans in partnership with business leaders; proactively build talent pools using innovative sourcing and networking approaches; ensure an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding; track and refine hiring metrics such as turnaround time, quality of hire, and offer acceptance rates.
- HR Business Partnership: Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders and managers; coach leaders in employee performance, engagement, and development; lead workforce planning and organizational design initiatives; address employee concerns empathetically and fairly to foster a collaborative and accountable workplace culture.
- Performance and Talent Management: Oversee performance management cycles including goal setting and reviews; identify and support high-potential employees and succession planning; collaborate with Learning & Development to facilitate capability building; leverage people analytics for informed decisions.
- Employee Experience: Implement initiatives to boost engagement and retention; oversee onboarding processes ensuring new hire success; drive culture-building activities to enhance workplace environment.
- HR Strategy and Operations: Manage core HR processes to guarantee smooth employee lifecycle management; develop HR dashboards to relay people insights to leadership; lead HR projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- 8 to 12 years of combined experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner roles.
- Hands-on experience in high-growth startups or industries such as D2C, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Retail.
- Demonstrated success in hiring across diverse functions and leadership ranks.
- Strong business understanding with the capability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proficient with HRMS/Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment analytics.
- Excellent skills in communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving.
- A proactive, business-minded approach utilizing data-driven decision-making and thriving in dynamic environments.
- Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields; an MBA specializing in HR is preferred.
