Job description
Role overview
This position supports patient care delivery in Kerry Mental Health Services. The role sits at Band 1 and involves working under the guidance and supervision of nursing staff or other healthcare professionals.
According to the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO), healthcare assistants help provide direct personal care, assistance and support to patients and residents across a range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, aged care facilities, and community or home-based environments. They contribute to multidisciplinary teams in delivering safe, high-quality care.
Key duties
The main purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of patient care while working under supervision and direction from nursing or other professional staff.
