Based in Frankfurt, Germany, this opportunity reports into senior leadership and plays a central part in improving media excellence, supporting client expansion, accelerating digital transformation, and strengthening operational delivery across the German market.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and execute integrated media strategies spanning traditional, digital, and performance channels.
- Oversee media investment approaches, allocate budgets, and assess campaign impact across a varied client portfolio.
- Develop strong relationships with senior client contacts, media owners, agency partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of media planners and strategists.
- Promote innovation, improve digital capability, and use data-driven decision-making to enhance commercial and client outcomes.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience from media agencies or large advertiser environments, with a background covering strategy, planning, buying, and client leadership. You should have a track record of managing substantial media budgets and navigating complex, multi-channel client accounts.
Strong leadership ability is essential, including experience building teams and influencing senior decision-makers. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with the ability to explain complex media topics clearly at executive level.
