This pivotal role requires a hands-on financial leader responsible for both strategic and operational finance functions. Responsibilities range from developing a regional driver-based operating model to managing monthly financial closing processes.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning efforts.
- Provide timely and precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executives, investors, and stakeholders.
- Define and track critical financial and operational KPIs.
- Guide capital allocation decisions using financial modeling, scenario planning, and macroeconomic trends.
- Support fundraising activities, maintain banking relationships, and oversee strategic financing engagements.
- Enforce strong financial governance with controls, policies, and compliance strategies including regulatory adherence to IFRS, SOCPA/ZATCA, VAT, and e-invoicing standards.
- Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and investors effectively.
- Lead and cultivate a high-performing finance team while collaborating closely across Operations, Product, Development, Legal, and Human Resources.
- Ensure integrity of the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and complete monthly closing processes within five business days or less for KSA entities.
- Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast updated weekly and oversee banking operations and KYC compliance.
- Develop and uphold the driver-based operating model covering unit economics, site profit and loss, and regional consolidation.
- Conduct scenario analyses involving pricing, staffing, capital expenditures, and launch schedules; deliver weekly MENA cash and KPI reports.
- Design the ideal capital structure for MENA projects, including equity, debt, joint ventures, and mezzanine facilities management.
- Coordinate with Property Accounting to ensure accurate consolidation of building-level financial statements into regional reports.
- Advance systems and processes related to accounting, expense control, and business intelligence tools.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Between 8 to 12 years in progressively responsible finance roles with senior leadership experience in fast-growing multinational firms.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting accreditation such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or SOCPA, with extensive knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA/ZATCA standards.
- Background in real estate, hospitality, asset management, or asset-intensive sectors.
- Practical expertise in treasury and cash management along with managing senior banking relationships in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven skills in building financial models, processes, and internal controls from the ground up.
- Strong analytical background in financial planning, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in managing fundraising, capital market interactions, or investor relations, at any stage of organizational growth.
- Ability to thrive in founder-led, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for modeling, coupled with familiarity with modern finance software, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, with the ability to communicate executive-level insights concisely.
- Preferred: familiarity with property accounting, development financial modeling, and real estate or prop-tech sectors.
