About Solomon's Palace and Chateaus
Solomon's Palace and Chateaus is embarking on an ambitious project to create a kosher luxury resort located on Las Vegas South Strip. This development spans over 20 acres and includes a 300-room luxury hotel, 500 condominiums, a synagogue, and a clubhouse. The project is designed to deliver an upscale hospitality experience specifically catering to guests requiring kosher facilities in a prime location. As the organization expands, it is building a leadership team and seeking equity partners to advance this vision, offering team members a chance to influence financial, operational, and strategic facets of a major hospitality and real estate endeavor.
Role Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. The CFO will be responsible for managing all financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, and capital deployment related to the resort and associated real estate developments. Key day-to-day duties encompass preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, implementing internal control systems, overseeing accounting operations, and assuring adherence to all applicable regulations. The CFO will spearhead financial strategy for raising funds and managing investor relations, negotiate terms with lenders and equity stakeholders, and provide insights to assist executive leadership in decision-making. Collaboration with other executives is crucial to support project planning, risk mitigation, and maintain long-term financial health.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Established expertise in finance demonstrated through leadership roles in real estate, hospitality, or similar industries.
- Proficiency in financial planning and budgeting, involving long-term financial forecasting and capital expenditure management.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting complex financial statements and reports for both internal and external audiences.
- Advanced analytical capabilities to assess risk and clearly communicate financial recommendations.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines; MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with capital fundraising, investor liaison, and working with lenders or institutional investors.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, tax implications, and compliance standards relevant to large-scale development projects.
- Leadership skills to develop and guide a finance team and work cooperatively with executives in a dynamic growth-focused environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills aimed at making financial concepts accessible to all stakeholders.
