Job description
Project Overview
We are launching a new initiative to enhance our client's existing treasury software solutions. We seek experienced Treasury Front Office Consultants to join this important upgrade effort.
Key Duties
- Maintain responsibility for supporting, handling change requests, and delivering projects related to treasury applications.
- Provide frontline Level 1 and Level 2 trading floor support to traders and control teams.
- Assist traders and middle office staff with resolving daily challenges such as profit and loss and position discrepancies, market data issues, and market operations.
- Manage configuration of curves (including rates, rate hedges, credit), static data elements like securities, generators, indices, currencies, volatility surfaces, portfolios, user groups, and access permissions within Murex.
- Develop and update pre-trade rules, modify lookup tables, simulate views, configure e-tradepad strategies, and manage Live Book views.
- Conduct testing during patch and version upgrades to reconcile any profit and loss or Greeks inconsistencies and prevent regressions.
- Act as a liaison by communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders including internal teams, clients, and change management groups.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Ensure all documentation and project deliverables adhere to established standards.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience specifically in Front Office support, with total industry experience not exceeding 15 years.
- Proficient in at least two of the following derivatives domains: interest rate vanilla and exotic derivatives, equity derivatives, commodity derivatives, foreign exchange derivatives, structured credit derivatives, or fixed income/money market (FIMM) products.
- Solid understanding of derivative products and their complete trade lifecycle.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Capital Markets products and workflows from front to back office.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Murex platform is advantageous.
- Expertise in pricing, valuation, risk analysis, and sensitivity metrics, especially for exotic products.
