Overview

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our finance team on a full-time basis. This entry-level position suits recent graduates or professionals beginning their career who want to deepen their skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting, while contributing to strategic choices.

Key Duties

  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and management reports.
  • Examine financial data to detect trends and deliver practical insights aiding business decisions.
  • Support processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.
  • Develop financial models, conduct variance analyses, and compile profitability reports.
  • Monitor essential financial performance indicators and identify risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Assist with cost and revenue analyses as well as reviews of operational performance.
  • Ensure reconciliation of financial data and accuracy in financial documents.
  • Conduct research on market, competitors, and industry to inform financial planning.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business units to gather and verify financial data.
  • Contribute to audit efforts and adherence to internal financial guidelines.
  • Maintain financial databases, spreadsheets, and documentation related to reporting.
  • Keep updated with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge of financial statements, accounting concepts, and analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions like PivotTables, formulas, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic experience or knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP solutions such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Professional certifications (CFA Level I, ACCA, CPA) or progression towards them are beneficial.
