Overview
A private equity-backed organization is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to oversee its financial management, capital strategies, and merger and acquisition initiatives within a rapidly expanding business. This strategic leadership role involves close collaboration with the CEO and investors to enhance performance and facilitate sustainable value growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all finance-related functions such as financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, tax affairs, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement capital strategies while managing relationships with lenders.
- Lead M&A activities, including conducting evaluations, due diligence processes, and integration efforts.
- Create efficient and scalable financial processes and systems to support business growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to guide strategic direction and optimize business performance.
- Prepare the organization for exit scenarios by ensuring thorough investor reporting and financial readiness.
- Communicate financial findings and insights to senior-level stakeholders and board members.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a highly effective finance team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years in senior financial leadership roles.
- Experience working in private equity-backed companies, ideally with exposure at the CFO level.
- Strong expertise in capital markets, debt financing, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Proven success in guiding organizations through exit events.
- Skilled in handling complex financial structures.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) credential required.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
Compensation Package
- Base salary ranging from $400,000 to $500,000 annually.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
- Potential equity participation available.
